Our flagship house coffee has now taken over the barrel aged program!
We take our finest Brazilian Salmo natural process and dry the bean out by exposing it to air until it hits a target moisture level, and then throw them into bourbon barrels that were freshly dumped from Orange County Distillery. The coffee will absorb the moisture and humidity in the barrel over the following three to four months, and then when roasted the residual sugars from the oak and bourbon create a magical shift on the palate of this coffee.
Best served as a pour over, it is sweet and creamy with flavors that shift from green apple when first poured to melted vanilla ice cream as it cools.
ROAST PROFILE: Full City+ (Medium-Dark Roast)
TASTING NOTES: Green Apple, Cookie Dough, Vanilla Ice Cream, Crème Brûlée, Maraschino Cherries
REGION: Cerrado, Brazil
PROCESS: Natural Process, 3mos Aged
Brewing Instructions: Measure 1g of coffee for every 16g of water. Heat water to 204f, and then brew using your method of choice.
